ARCCoM is a nonprofit, non-political organization, which promotes trade and commerce between the United States, Russia, and Russian-speaking communities and organizations around the world. According to the ARCCoM website, it’s unique definition of trade and commerce includes educational services and exchanges, cultural and artistic tourism, and other initiatives mutually beneficial to Minnesota and Russian speaking businesses and organizations.
Members have a wealth of experience, doing business in both Russia and the United States. They possess expertise in the fields of science, education, information technologies, immigration law and other business-related fields. Hinson has been a long-time advocate for positive American-Russian relations and cultural understanding.
“It is truly an honor to be a part of ARCCoM,” Hinson said following the meeting. “Where I come from, in the 7th District, we have manufacturing and farming industries that have historically traded with Russia. I look forward to contributing to the expansion of opportunities for our farmers and businesses here in Minnesota."
